izzzi hostel Bishkek

Absolutely horrendous staff. They're beyond rude. It was at around 2 in the morning, and i had travelled the entire day. I wasn't able to pay on arrival, due to me not carrying any cash. I was urged to leave my passport for safekeeping, which is illegal. The next day they bothered me 5 more times (in person, through Booking and over WhatsApp) and they threatened to fine me if i didn't immediately pay.

Good location, clean, very friendly staff, good value for the price.

The hostel is centrally located, walking distance to quite a number of scenic spots. There are a number of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby. I really like the vibe of the hostel and I specially like the girls working in the reception. They are working in shifts. As there is only one girl in one shift, she is always busy attending to the guests. They really do a good job from this perspective. And thanks to the hard-working cleaning lady, the whole hostel is very clean. I really like the vibe of the hostel.

Wifi doesn't always work. When it works, it's fast and stable.

I just liked the location, it is very central and convenient to move around, shopping centre and supermarket around the corner. Oh and also the beds are very comfy

The hostel was most of the time dirty, the rooms as tiny as, I can’t believe how small everything feels in this hostel, when I arrived there was no toilet paper, had to wait for hours to get it. Towel was wet when I received it, one of the staff wouldn’t even say hello, not polite. And the worse part of the noise, for some reason this hostel captures the noise of everyone, so sleeping at night is so challenging. I wouldn’t stay here again
