Cook's Bay Hotel and Suites

This is a beautiful property near a couple of good street side restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking, nice restaurant, and pool overlooking the bay.

The Cooks Bay Hotel lived up to the strong ratings. Beautiful property, comfortable room, great amenities, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The location was top notch. In particular, it was a great place to stay while also having a rental car. You wouldn’t really need to leave the property, but we enjoyed brief excursions to other nearby beaches, Belvédère viewpoint, and stores/restaurants. I’d return to Moorea and stay at the Cooks Bay Hotel in a heartbeat.

This is a brand new property that is well-designed, in a beautiful location. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is excellent. Very clean, comfortable and has small kitchen. Spent more than a week here, highly recommend if going to Moorea.

Nice new hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there were two minor faults: 1.) The first two days the coffee (espresso) in the restaurant was excellent. Then its quality dropped... no crema. The young lady did her best, but it was obvious that her level of education was not enough to solve this problem. 2.) On departure, I asked if we could have check-out an hour later, at 12:00 instead of 11:00. This was refused, even though the hotel was empty.... Strange, for a hotel of this level, but whatever. Normally I would have given 4 stars instead of 5... but this time I was more lenient. However, the service should match the price. So I hope the staff will get trained.

Excellent location, super helpful and wonderful staff, nice pool and coral beach, excellent room set up with kitchenette, living room area and big balcony, beautiful restaurant and overall very nice and new facilities; thanks for making my stay wonderful

Very nice hotel in Moorea with EXCELLENT food (probably the beat on the island). Highlights: Friendly staff, spacious rooms (we had a mini suite for 7 nights), nice pool, beautiful setting, easy parking during our stay. Bryan at the front excellent was great, the staff at Le Cook restaurant were awesome and so positive. We have enjoyed our discussions with the French crew (Simon and Leo), the Brazilian / Fortaleza Maria as well as the 2 local vahinés Yvette and Liane. The only lowlights (and they were minor) - as the hotel got full and given the close proximity to the pool, it was not pleasant to be woken-up (on the last 2 nights) by 2 obnoxious kids yelling before the am for at least 45 minutes. No real beach access and cannot get out in the water unless you plunge on the choppy side of the hotel / near the restaurant. In recap, exceptional hotel, super clean too , best food, professional yet friendly staff. A no brainer if you want to spend a few days or weeks on the island.
