The place was clean and very central.

I didn't like that everything was done via mail. No staff was present in the facility.

Nice room. Good kitchen.

The Vert registration process was onerous and malfunctioned, sending me 2 sets of incorrect door key codes. I suggest the owners dump Vert and just use Booking.com alone. Another guest there had the same problem with Vert.

Great location and felt very safe and clean. I liked that there were individual baskets in cupboard and fridge for each room's food to be put in. Room was a good size for a solo traveller. I was pleasantly surprised.

The code I was given for the front door didn't work on my arrival but a few messages with the property and this was sorted.

Options - especially affordable ones - in Tórshavn are limited. Hence my choice. Location is great, intentions are clearly good, but set up is awkward.

I wish I had read previous comments more closely. Much of what I have to say has been said by previous guests. My small room once must have had proper lights, the fixtures are still there, but there is now only a small bedside light left. No desk, no waste paper basket, and more importantly: no net curtains - people from across the street, the cafe and the bus stop have a free view into the room, unless you use the blinds. Showers are one floor down, 3 shower rooms to be shared by the occupants of 10 rooms. And again the people across the street have a free view of anyone entering or exiting the showers - dressed appropriately no doubt. In a sheer endless stream of messages you receive instructions for entering the building and finding the key to your room. Included is a step to step guide, unfortunately with the wrong photo of the keybox... A mistake already remarked here in 2024 (!) The keypad is on the door handle instead (photo) No wonder my attempts were futile, till other guests turned up who had experienced the same issue a day earlier. And sure enough on my second day I found another victim of the false information - trying to enter, using the keybox as instructed. Communal areas - dining table, sitting room right in front of the rooms - mean there is a big chance of noise, or just chattering; till late, and also the doors and walls are thin. Having the room right next to the stairs meant I could hear all coming and going.

The location is good. But no food is served. Also there is a lot of noise in the front area. No one ever checks on the guests. Someone should at least visit for an hour or so in the morning.
