GBLovely clean caravan, perfect location. So nice to have a little welcome package too! Will stay again. Thank you so much!
Nothing
GBVery clean and good location
Combination boiler bangs loudly when heating or hot water runs
GBCode was sent in advance, easy to access. The double bed was good quality. There were a few welcome touches. Milk, biscuits and teabags that were very welcome, as the site shop is closed from 1st November (there is a garage nearby) We have stayed in a few caravans for weekend breaks on this site with our dog and this van is by far the best. Not all people travelling with pets like to stay in a smelly seen better days caravan just because they have a dog, and this caravan most certainly was not. We will be returning. Thank you
GBClean modern fresh
GBliked the caravan
small rooms, bit congested
GBLocation, cleanliness, comfortable bed
Second bedroom is a bit small
GBit was family friendly. the reception staff were very helpful .
our caravan smelled of wet dog, especially the sofas we had to sit on. I think that the owners new this as there was pet odour removers in the cupboard and when we got there all the windows were ajar to get rid of the smell. There was no relevant information about internet in the chalet we found it 3 days later. there was no mobile phone connection and we had various providers between us but could not get a signal on site so had to drive up the hills in one direction or another to get the signal. which was relly annoying when you have to contact family or had an important call to make. The heated swimming pools were not heated because the site boilers had broked down and were not getting fixed any time soon (this being there most important time of year)so water was very cold inside and out. if i was managing the site i would have made sure that the swimming pools were heated as stated in the write up , this was one of the reasons why we choose this destination,we were there for a week im sure they could have gotten an engineer out to fix the "boiler problem'' or was it just that they didnt want to spend the money to heat the pools ?. they did not serve food on monday and tuesday night in the club house and then on friday night had technical difficulties in the kitchen so could not provide food again. we went into the internal swimming pool 3 times in a week and because it was so cold asked for a cup of tea , we were told the first day that they did not have milk ? the onsite store was literally 50 yards away ,so when we asked again the 2nd time they said it again when we asked again the 3 day (these were not consecutive days by the way) i asked them why they had not gone to get any in a week? the young guys just laughed it off. clearly they could not be bothered to make tea or coffee for people and thats the reason they did not bother to get the milk it was far easier to say we dont have any. The beach is up a steep hill ,to much for kids and elders
