JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa

Beautiful property! Staff is professional and very attentive.

The property itself was wonderful. They were having issues with water supply due to the generators, no A/C. We had to switch hotels the next morning after arriving. The beach had a lot of seaweed and not very big. Staff was wonderful

The staff was tremendous and the resort beautiful. The beach was unfortunately not great as a result of Mother Nature. Otherwise the resort itself was amazing. The food was good but way over priced. A 5 to 7 dollar adjustment would make a huge difference.

This property is clean…. staff is extremely nice, and helpful. Taxis are available when you need them. The pool and pool bar were wonderful. The pool grill was ok, there could have been other options… but no big deal. The only negative O have is the beach. The area needs to be tended to… it’s very rocky in the water… lots of seaweed, and no one was utilizing the beach…. Again the beach needs work, but overall, I would return to this property.

"It is a nice hotel that is currently being remodeled. The rooms were luxurious and thoughtfully designed. The food and service were excellent. Refrain from believing the bad reviews; this hotel is worth the stay. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday trip exceptional. The hotel gym is excellent. The beach can be a little rough compared to the other beaches on the island, but the pool and swim-up bar are good. I recommend renting a car and exploring the island.

The premises was relatively new and clean however, there were four things wrong with this property, including the fact that the manager denied there was an extensive power outage. It’s in a very inconvenient area, where you have to travel the half an hour and either direction to do anything by cab, The beach was filled with Sea weed making the water unswimmable, There were ants in the room when my wife opened the milk to the coffee. But mostly there Was an extensive power outage, which they denied They claimed it was for one to two minutes when in fact, it was extensive . I had called Expedia to report it after 20 minutes and Expedia was very helpful and called the hotel and the phone lines were down. Despite that the next day, when I attempted to get an adjustment, the hotel refused to credit me anything and denied to Expedia my claim that the outage was one to two minutes. Clearly it was not as it took about five minutes to get through to Expedia and no one would call after 1 to 2 minutes. Obviously, this Marriott does not know how to treat its customers and permanently lost my business as a result. However, Expedia once again came through and is an exceptional company that values its customers

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the JW Marriott in Saint Martin. The hotel was very clean. The food was really good We enjoyed everything we ordered from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The views from my room beautiful. We were so pleased and relaxed on our vacation that we extended it three additional days. Unlight the other reviews we had great customer service. One of my good friends stayed here a month ago and told my husband and I that we had to visit. We are so thankful for the recommendation, it was perfect

Very Beautiful place

The property was nice and new, still getting finished so not a ton of decor around. Lost power several times everyday, but they said it was an island wide issue…BEST PARTS were the HUGE Infiniti pool and beach front being only a few steps away. Staff was also AMAZING, very friendly, appreciative and accommodating. There are only 2 restaurants on site, so after a few days the same food got pretty boring. It’s also about a $50/30-40 min ride from SXM. It’s further away than we thought from most places if you plan on venturing off resort so plan on $30 per way per taxi to go anywhere. All in all beautiful resort which I’m sure will only get better as time goes on!
