Pebbles View Overlooking the Beautiful Pevensey Bay Beach

Initial look at the place was great, lived up to the hype. On the beach, decent size rooms, large open living space with kitchen and dining. Everything you’d want for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately as great as the surroundings were, the beds were very uncomfortable, 6 out of the 8 woke up with aches and pains. Mattresses clearly past their used by dates. The single beds are probably for children, as an adult you probably don’t want to be sleeping on that bed. Also the other 2 double beds are just 2 single beds put together so you end up falling in the middle. Now cleanliness: I’ll get straight to it, there are bugs crawling all over the place, especially in the kitchen area we had placed the food, I started trapping these bugs under a plastic cup, it got a point that even though I washed my cups I would wash them again 10 seconds before using it (it’s still making me itch thinking about it). The floors are very dirty, slippers, socks, feet all turned grimy. I usually do not wear shoes or slippers indoors, the downstairs floors are very sticky. Also there are cobwebs in the lights, the skirting boards, windows, window sills haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The living room rug needs a clean. I know I’ve just mentioned a whole bunch of negatives, but really my parents liked it, but there are areas in which they could improve. I really hope they do improve them, it’s a beautiful location with amazing views.
