Dimora Cottanera ist ein außergewöhnliches Refugium inmitten der sanften Hügel Siziliens, umgeben von duftenden Weinbergen und uralten Olivenbäumen. Die Lage des Hauses verspricht Ruhe und Erholung in einer einzigartigen, idyllischen Umgebung. Die hauseigenen Weine sind von exzellenter Qualität, und die kulinarischen Kreationen – frisch, hausgemacht und mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet – haben uns restlos begeistert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die aufmerksame und überaus freundliche Betreuung durch Vicenzo, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gestaltete. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der Infinity-Pool, der mit seinem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die umliegende Landschaft ein Gefühl von purer Leichtigkeit vermittelt. Kurzum: Dimora Cottanera verbindet Eleganz, Gastfreundschaft und Naturerlebnis auf perfekte Weise – ein Ort, an dem man die Seele baumeln lassen kann.

Am Vormittag hatten wir eine kurze Besichtigung der Weinkeller mit einer kleinen Degustation. Obwohl wir großes Interesse an der Domaine und ihren Weinen gezeigt haben, war die Betreuung während der Führung leider nicht besonders freundlich, und es wurden nur wenige Geschichten oder Hintergrundinformationen vermittelt. Das empfanden wir als enttäuschend. Nichtsdestotrotz haben wir Wein erworben, da die Qualität durchweg exzellent ist.

Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. Wir waren begeistert. Tolles Weingut mit toller Einrichtung, Service und Lage. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sadly did not live up to expectations Paid extra for a superior room, assumed we would have a beautiful view over the vineyards, as pictures suggest. Not what we received, we looked on to the courtyard with no “landmark” view and were quite close to the road. I booked well in advance (all rooms appeared available at time of booking) so would have hoped that would have given me priority but this is not the case. Pool was far too cold - not a single person went in it during our stay The hot tub was tepid (would have made a great pool temperature) far too cold for a hot tub

The accomodation was spacious and loved being in the big house part and sleeping with curtains open to see the view yet not be overlooked. The staff were so helpful and didn’t mind us sitting having lunch or a drink in the beautiful communal area. You never felt like you were in the way. The breakfast had an amazing choice and the dinners offered through the restaurant were fresh and tasty. 10% discount for wine tasting at Cottanera which is a 2 min walk from the accommodation.

Towel hanging area is limited in the large bathroom

Incredible retreat with breathtaking views of the vineyards and the mountains. Excellent food and breakfast as well. Everything is homemade with local produce.
