Hotel Ambassadeur

Excellent Room, Fabulous sea view only downside was the bathroom could do with an upgrade, although it was perfectly functional. Also it would be good to have a fridge in the room. Swimming pool good but it would have been even better if it was located at the front of the hotel, to get the afternoon sun. Dining room very good, service excellent, but would be better if there was fresh fruit on offer for breakfast. Parking excellent

Your hotel was lovely. Comfortable, cozy and stylish with a gorgeous view of the bay. The food was excellent and staff were so very helpful, especially the front desk people.

Lovely view of the bay, shame there’s no balcony to sit on. Staff very courteous and friendly. Food mostly excellent.

A good priced hotel and a restaurant

Great customer service and a lovely convenient location. Overall the hotel is a lovely environment. However, the bathroom had a very old green suite with a rusty plug hole and a not very nice white shower curtain. The bed seemed very small and the quilt cover was not adequate in size, for two people. There were no water bottles to use to boil water for making tea, so the only water to make tea with, was the bathroom water!!! Thank you for your great customer service, much appreciated

The breakfast was lovely as was the room I was in very clean and tidy.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

Unfortunately we had booked to stay prior to Christmas and hadn't anticipated there being large Christmas parties going on. The first night the disco went on until 12.30 and we were above it so unable to sleep due to the constant boom boom boom of the music. Staff agreed to move us to a different room for the rest of our stay and it was both quiet and more comfortable. Quite why they hadn't thought to do this in the first place I don't know as we would have been comfortable and not needing to complain. The en-suite in our first room was so cold we were reluctant to get in the shower. Restaurant and reception staff were all excellent.
