The Pandora Hotel

An excellent stay. Room very comfortable and quiet, with a nice view of the gardens and valley beyond. Great restaurant & food, especially breakfast, staff always friendly and helpful. The walk up the hill certainly keeps you fit, but there are a couple of pubs halfway up to take a breather! Happily recommend it.

A lovely place to stay. The staff are superb. The meals ( especially dinner) were the best we had on the Island. It is well located and good car parking for little cars. We will stay again and recommend to everyone. The rooms are typical hotel rooms and the public spaces are stunning.

A lovely hotel to stay in, within 5mins walk of St Peter's Port centre. The staff are very welcoming and efficient. We thoroughly recommend the Pandora.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. I was over working for this trip so didn’t take full advantage of facilities and area around hotel.

Great location- peaceful and handy for town, buses, pubs - all easily walkable. Immaculately kept throughout with helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast options excellent as is on-site restaurant.

Very helpful knowledgeable staff. We had a little problem parking but that was swiftly resolved. Steps up to front entrance may be tricky for some but staff very helpful. We can especially thank Dev.

A well located hotel with bar, restaurant and garden. Credit due to the friendly staff team, and compliments to the (excellent) chef. Having experienced 2 rooms I’d advise considering the sea view. Not so much for the view itself (weather was too bad to benefit from a view this time) but for the mattress. We extended our trip by a night but were moved to a standard room, as there was a £35 surcharge to extend our stay in the original room where our holiday started. The downgraded room was identical to the one we began our trip in, other than window facing the other way and an inferior mattress - very soft so not great slept in that one. Given the hotel was not busy (due to the weather and ferry disruption) it’d have been five stars plus if we’d been offered our original room when we stayed on. Spent a lot of money there on dinner, several nights of bar, etc, so that would have been an ‘exceeding expectations’ opportunity. Otherwise a nice find, nice team and central location. Slight gradient uphill coming home, but overall good value, and well cleaned.

We had a meal in the bar, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and the staff came out with a Brownie and a candle and Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate and sung Happy Birthday to me, they made me feel special. The food was excellent. We had a complimentary glass of wine.
