They have air conditioning at least

The hostel was very dirty. Everyone kept on opening the door and keeping it open causing the air conditioning to be inefficient and the mosquitoes kept coming in. It was very uncomfortable to sleep because of the poor circulation of the air conditioning and the mosquitoes kept coming inside the dormitory. Nobody spoke any English and I was using the translator.

Really didn’t like anything about this hostel.

1. No duvet/sheet for the bed 2. Shower is shit 3. The workers told me I was not allowed to use the non-traditional toilet as “my time was up” only 2 hours after I had checked out. They told me they would feel “unsafe” with me upstairs. This could be a translation but I know for certain this is bad hospitality. Gus, 25, M, thinks afffogatos are underrated

The only thing that was nice about my stay was that it was close to the train station.

-Bed sheets was NOT changed, the sheets was full of crumbles and dust. I kept my clothes on of hygiene reasons. -The 1 shared bathroom for the 20+ beds smelled like fungus and despite having travelled for 15 hours I considered not to shower because it looked awful. -You do not get any cover or something to have over you. Only a pillow. -Lights in the room was ON all night an even the unused bed had the lighting on which was very disturbing. -AC looked black inside and for sure it was not healthy to breath in the air from it.

The location was good. In the centre if the city and in walking distance or a Grab taxi to attractions. It did have Internet.. (tho' connection was not as reliable as it could be. ) There was working A/C

The building was filthy, very dirty. Including the bed linen. There were hairs, and blood stains on the sheets. It didn't match the description given in Booking.com There was strong smell of glue, and tools, and broken bits of furniture.. everywhere.. The toilet stank of urine, and there was only one toilet which was in the bathroom for the whole dorm.( I don't how many beds it had .. but in the region of 20 maybe) Communication with staff was v difficult, due to language barriers..
