AutoCamp Zion

I loved everything about the property but felt that the entry to the camp could be better, more of a presence with better lighting.

Even though it was off-season, i expected a bit more for the hundreds it cost for one night. The trailers were nice, and I payed extra for the premium view. That view was of a weed-choked, boulder area that served to reduce the risk of flooding. It also hid the view of the river. I had to clean up glass and tumbleweeds from the firepit area so my dog wouldn't get hurt. There were weeds and tumbleweeds all over. We had to go to the main building to get a cast iron pan to cook with, nobody mentioned this. The "camp store" sold overpriced goods, mostly souvenirs, including an $18 s'mores kit. We had to provide, or buy, our own firewood. Breakfast included mediocre coffee and dry granola, nothing else. We had to go eat breakfast elsewhere. My final opinion is it is a touristy, money trap. For the same price i could have stayed at a very nice hotel, bought a nice dinner and had money left over.

Der Aufbau und das Ambiente ist einladend und schön. Einfach mal was anderes, wie im Hotelzimmer und dennoch geräumig. Jeder Camper besitzt eine Grillstelle und Kohle bzw. auch das Fleisch kann man direkt gegen Bezahlung besorgen.

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist nicht so optimal, wenn man lange Haare hat.

Possibly the worst customer service out there. A nice view and close to Zion. The front desk team is rude and in capable of handling any matter. I was charged twice for my stay after being belittled and talk down to by the front desk when I told them I already paid, but they couldn’t update the system and insisted on on me giving them my credit card again even though they admitted they can see that I already paid through the third-party and couldn’t update any of my information but wanted my credit card. I was hesitant to handover my credit card and data for privacy concerns and knowing I would be charged again, even though I already paid, the front desk woman did not want to deal with it and said I had to get my credit card and wait for the manager to contact me instead of just letting me not give the card since I already paid.

Cleanliness

Despite paying for a room for three people, the room was not properly prepared for our arrival. I had to organize the extra bed myself, which is unacceptable considering the price we paid. The most significant issue, however, was with the shower. The hot water supply is insufficient for three people. By the time the third person showered, the water was completely cold. The only alternative was to use the communal bathrooms, which is absurd for the price charged. --- WINTER TIME!!!! To make matters worse, the restaurant is misleadingly advertised. It’s not a proper restaurant but rather a small kitchen where they heat frozen meals. The food was overpriced and of terrible quality—definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point.

We had a great time glamping! The Airstream was really cute and the facilities were modern and comfy. The staff were super friendly, and having our own campfire outside was a fun touch. Only downsides were the pool wasn’t heated for winter (it was closed), the beds were a bit too hard, and the heating was loud. Also, no maid service and weak water pressure, but overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely do it again!
