Het kasteel! Fantastisch om daar te ontbijten en te dineren. Een geweldige ambiance! Leuke rondleiding ook door Paolo en Francesco. Het ritje met monorail voor je bagage is ook uniek.

Eerste avond was er geen diner.

"An extraordinary experience"

No words can describe the experience. Staying overnight in a 1000 year old castle, a warm and clear summer evening. Beautiful music playing in the courtyard, the beautiful flower pots decorating the place. Francesco's and Luisa's hospitality will always be remembered. A tour of the castle, the stories from centuries back, as well as from the devastating earthquake in 2016 and the struggle of reconstructing the castle. Although Francesco did not speak much English, we still understood what he told us. The rooms were restored using modern Italian design. Francesco had a tiny monorail taking luggage and up to two persons from the parking place to the castle. Breakfast was served in the centuries old dining room, Luisa's home made cakes were just delicious. Thank you, Francesco and Luisa, we will come back, bring friends and family along!

Fascinating, gorgeously renovated 1000 year old castle in a remote corner of Italy. Near to Alpinine hiking.

We were somewhat put off to discover no one on site spoke English. Sadly we could not participate in an offered tour of the castle because it was only offered in Italian.
