The Coach House at Jervaulx

Beautiful location next to Jervaulx Abbey. Atmospheric, peaceful and ever so relaxing! The property was very spacious, spotless, great layout out and beautifully styled. Lovely wood burner, with plenty of wood provided, and excellent instructions - perfect on a chilly evening. The welcome basket was a real treat, too. Didn't want to leave!

Spaciousness, cleanliness, central heating (it was freezing cold outside). Very stylish and tasteful interior design. The nearby abbey grounds make the place even more special.

Everything. Fabulous. Very spacious. It was the best cottage I ever stayed at. Pure luxury. Fully renovated facilities. Top high quality standard. Super well equipped. It had everything (to the tiniest detail) you could possibly wish for. Home away from home. Top quality furnishings with elegant taste in all rooms. Bathroom top: Bath, shower, hot water, soft towels. Kitchen new and fully equipped with gadgets . Great WiFi. Wood oven provides a cosy atmosphere in lounge. Owners very friendly and available in case you need anything. A welcoming basket with wine and biscuits greets you as you open the door. Perfect both for romantic getaways or a one child family or 2 couples. Plenty of outdoor activities within reach. Very good value for money.

Not for non drivers. A car is essential. Far from any shop or pub or restaurant (but this is quite normal in Yorkshire) Not for disabled person with walking difficulty or difficulty climbing stairs. There is a narrow and steep stone staircase to access cottage (it’s on first floor)

A beautiful well equipt cottage in such peaceful surroundings. Excellent communication from the hosts.

Beautiful place, the first time to this area in Yorkshire, but I've been staying in Yorkshire for 30 yrs. This is one of the best places I've stayed in that I would most definitely recommend. But please read the description as there are stone steps to the first floor and a sunken bath, not for the less able body!.. Owners are lovely and the dogs! Enjoy.

Nothing I didn't like other than as mentioned be aware of the steps and sunken bath. The shower is over the bath. Would benefit from a bath matt, to be honest.
