I think that if the host met you and explained certain aspects of the place and spoke with the guests it would be alot more beneficial to both parties and not so informal

Beautiful peaceful location, spotless property, great heating, lovely stove, had all the essentials, looks nicer in person than the pics show. Welcome gift was a nice touch. Firestick on the TV had great choice of programming.
The bathroom doesn't have a lightswitch just a sensor and the light stays on for 30 mins after someone leaves which was annoying when going to the bathroom in the night. Also the lighting was extremely bright (minor issue :) ) The only other issue we had was the bed. the matress is very soft and the metal bedframe is very noisy even when turning over in the night. Kept waking us up.
