Happy Camp in Camping Karavomilos Beach

Clean, safe and nice staff. However, you have to pay extra 20 euros per bed sheet and 10 euro per towel set and 5 euro to use the A, all per stay. Which wasn’t mentioned upon booking. There were no toiletries whatsoever, no dish soap, no toilet paper. Also there was a 100 euro deposit that wasn’t mentioned either. The cleaning costs 40 euro and you can choose to do it yourself but it included chores like wiping windows. The staff was very nice and gave us late check out and was very helpful regarding sharing information about the island. The location was very convenient and walking distance to the main things in Sami.

We had read a few bad reviews & were a bit worried! BUT we needn't have been . Happy Camp reception was in a tent (similar to eurocamps reception on large campsites) it was run by Peter & Blanca , who were always available and very pleasant. They emailed us good check in instructions as we arrived at nearly midnight which were easy to follow and no problem at all. The mobile home was very clean, with a lovely kitchen and the bed and bedding were very clean and comfortable. The shower could have done with some new sealant but apart from that everything else was very good. The campsite itself was absolutely gorgeous, with an amazing pool and lovely setting, straight in front of the sea. A short walk into Sami with all the gorgeous cafes etc. You do need to hire towels and bedding , at an extra cost, but they weren't expensive . The site was empty as it was nearly the end of the season but it was still well looked after and pretty.

Avevo letto recensioni molto negative ma francamente non ho notato nulla di terribile anzi. La nostra mobile home era quasi sempre in ombra consentendoci ottime colazioni sotto la veranda. L’aria condizionata ha sempre funzionato molto bene, gli interni erano puliti e abbastanza nuovi. Bisogna attrezzarsi con carta igienica, spugne e detersivi propri per il resto c’è tutto. Lenzuola, asciugamani e aria condizionata vanno pagati a parte. Piscina molto bella e ottima taverna vista mare dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene.
