Stylish & Family Friendly 2BR at Downtown Washington DC

Excellently equipped small apartment chosen for having two bedrooms We were supposed to be a couple and a friend touristing around DC and this was a great find. One big room with a double bed plus a bunk bed and one smaller room with a queen size bed It could easily host a small family or group of friends! Great fully equipped kitchen, the place even has a washer/dryer The area (straight north of Union Station) has easy access to everywhere, by foot or public transport It's a very up-and-coming lively place being rapidly gentrified. Little bars and eateries popping up all over along streets littered with old fashioned town houses being renovated

Not much not to like actually! Possibly the lack of a kettle in the kitchen - being tea-drinkers that was the only kitchen equipment missing!

The bathroom was very small and we couldn’t turn off the heating so that did affect our stay but overall we enjoyed the location and our time in Washington. The hosts were very attentive and checked on our needs so we were happy with the service.

Location. We could walk to the Howard- Shaw Metro. We felt safe in the neighborhoods. Host was very responsive and fixed an issue promptly.

We knew it was an older building so the fact that it had a few older fixtures was not an issue. We came to see D.C. Not to spend lots of time in our lodging.

A very private and fully equipped condo on 2nd floor, many beds, large space, the patio is converted into a lounge where you can eat and some office work. It is old townhouse style and 2 miles to Capitol. There is a small convenience shop just across the street, and a bike station. Overall a nice stay place for visitors to DC.

Comfortable. Clean details with cooking utensils , art work , encouraging affirmations .

The traffic noise was not manageable the first night . I put the air conditioner conditioner on for white nose the second night . that’s worked . Buses G8. Were irregular an infrequent .

Very cozy. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and each has a TB. Good host who checks up on you. Very comfortable. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. There's a bus a 2 minute walk from the apartment that drops you into downtown. High speed Internet

Not much really- just need to have a separate shower gel in the shower. I could have asked for it but carried my own. Pillows could be a bit softer. I don't like very firm and fluffy pillows but I must say they were perfect for sittingup to watch TV from the bed. These are really non-issues coz there were some softer decorative Pillows I used instead.

The house was surprisingly big and fantastic value for money! There were lots of little extras (snacks, teas, toiletries etc.) and so many beds! More space than we needed. Incredibly clean, well furnished, well-located, no complaints at all. Absolutely perfect

The only thing I would say is that it wasn't clear from the booking that we were on such a big space! Obviously this wasn't a problem because we ended up with more beds than expected - but maybe it could be clearer when booking which unit you are booking exactly.
