Flat 2 - The Old Mill - Bowbridge Lock - Stroud

We had lovely break in the flat, as it was so cosy and warm. Milk and cereals were very welcome too. Perfect spot for walking along the canal and into Stroud and found some nice places to eat.

Nothing other than, need more detailed instructions as to where key locks are as not to side of the door, you have to walk round side of building and we sort of found them by accident attached to a little wall, and our neighbours said exactly same thing . But once inside a lovely little flat.

Well located and characterful.

Pretty dark. Bin in Kitchen too small.

Unique property and location beside a lovely canal. Very well equipped, tastefully decorated and comfortable. T bags and milk a welcome start. Only 10 minutes idyllic walk along the canal to Waitrose, or 2 minute drive .

Lovely little flat in a lovely location

Great position for exploring the Cotswolds and also walks along the canal. Cosy cottage, perfect for what we needed as a few nights stay

It was a little unfortunate that it is a bit of a dull summer so little sunlight got in so it felt a bit dark

Beautiful old mill. very comfortable stay in this interesting flat. thoughtfully furnished and well equipped and nice and clean . fantastic location . great parking. good for walks along canal and up to Rodborough common. Internet was working well. Good prompt communication with host. Thoughtful provision of milk, tea, coffee and cereal. Bowbridge Inn with good food a very short walk. Safe quiet neighbourhood..

Well situated for canal path and other beautiful countryside. Free parking outside. Short walk to Stroud. Good shower.

The property was smaller than it looked in the pictures. Quite dark, especially the bedroom. Sitting at the table to eat was difficult as knees hit the legs! Even though it was June it was chilly inside. Could have been cleaner, several cobwebs around and dust on doors etc. Needs a bit of tlc. Felt it was overpriced.
