New flat with hot tub - No3

Had the essentials and a nice view. Owner was helpful prior to our arrival and responded quickly to our request for dishwasher soap to do dishes.

The hot tub was dirty and we were disappointed to not be able to use it especially since that was the main reason we booked this property and paid a bit more. Also, the bathroom floor was falling apart due to bad grouting and water seeped out of the tiles every time you walked on them due to the damage. Eww. Not confidence inspiring. We had to cover the floor in towels. The shower head was unscrewed and sprayed water everywhere until we were able to tighten it. Luckily it didn’t come all the way off and land on one of our heads. There were lots of dishes, some still with the stickers on them like they had been pulled directly out of the box and into the cupboard. But only two pots/pans. The ceilings around the window frames showed water damage. In general it seemed that the place had been thrown together with a nice facade that was covering who knows what and was unfinished and not maintained. I was glad to leave as my asthma was kicking up from the musty air.

Everything was great! Stunning location, helpful and kind landlords, the flat is spacious and equipped with everything you need.

cooperative staff. clean and modern apartment. great stay. appreciated the use of the clothes washing machine.

It was so comfortable and spacious. We didn’t need all of the bedrooms but it was nice for extra space. It was really nice to relax in after a long day out exploring. It’s in a very quiet town which is nice and it’s not far from Runavík for food/gas/groceries.

The very bright automatic light in the main hallway. So bright and stays on for awhile once activated so very bright in the middle of the night.
