Sea View Bungalow in Carbis Bay Sleeps 6

Great property in a wonderful location. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting around the table in the evenings playing games. A very comfortable 5 night stay.

There was nothing not to like. It was all really wonderful. I’d probably remove the rug in the kitchen and change the rugs in the other rooms as a suggestion for the future but these are only very minor things.

Everything you could need was here, fantastic. 5 mins walk to a lovely beach and amazing restaurants.

Rug on kitchen floor was a tripping hazard, as the corners were curled up. In the property info is says there's a fireplace, there's not.

Really lovely location and fantastic host, very easy to communicate. It was so easy to switch off which was what we wanted. 15 minute walk to Carbis Bay beach, this is a very steep hill, if you have any disabilities I would recommend to drive. The train station was next to the beach so again only a short walk away and very easy to head to St.Ives for the day / evening. I recommend the La Casita for food, book in advance if you have a dog, great place to eat.

Not a negative but the bungalow was a little tired in places, but as it's October and nearly the end of the season it is totally understandable, the wardrobe was broke in the main bedroom, the brown rugs had seen better days, blinds could not fully open. Definitely not a negative but maybe some time to do little repairs and replace items before the next guests arrive. Carbis Bay beach is a 15 minute walk but this is a very steep hill, if you have any disabilities I would recommend to drive.

This place can't be faulted in terms of a beautiful location where a completely relaxing stay can be quickly achieved.

Very easy check in. Wonderful place to stay with everything we needed and good access to everywhere we wanted to go. It couldn't have been better for us. Handy shop 2 minutes walk away. Thank you!

If I'd had children there then I might have wanted more games as some were looking very well used but can't think of anything else I didn't like

Very clean & comfy bungalow everything you need is right there close to bus stops we used bus into st ives very handy , beds were amazing lovely clean linen and so comfy, nice walkdown to the beach but hard walk getting back up , but were getting on a bit 🙂 we had an enjoyable stay.

I,m going to be honest here, i could not hang clothes in the wardrobe as there was a weird smell coming from it and did not want that transfering to our clothes also had a lot of hair inside, the cushions on the sofas had dirty marks on so had not been changed in between visitors, the sofas need a clean i put throws on them both to sit on, we could not use the bbq as it looks like it has never been cleaned which was a huge dissapointment and the patio was full of weeds and very un inviting the grass needs cutting also, we did not sit out at all shame as we had amazing weather, dirty mop smell as entering the bungalow i bleached the mop clean and went over the full floor, in all i would stay here again hopefully these things are easily sorted.
