"Milkwood lodge 2 review"

Milkwood is a secure property. Walking distance to the beach and the Glenmore swimming beach is a 2min drive or also walking distance. The lodge is spacious. Has all the self catering amenities. Managed well. We received maintenance assistance promptly. Lovely location & views. Quiet & peaceful. Great location to lovely nearby attractions.

The lodges are situated high up and you need to climb quite a lot of stairs to get to it. My elderly mother struggled & it was a challenge carrying heavy bags to lodge. Cleaning services is a separate charge at R350 per day. Swimming pool was not operational due to area water supply problems. The bunkbeds are very noisy & squeaky and disrupts sleep with the noise. The downstairs bedroom can hear every footstep from upstairs. Would be helpful if the upstairs second bathroom had a hand shower in bathtub.
