"Very good"

Clean and well set up. Had everything we needed.

The only problem we had was the quality of the mattresses, which were not great and need to be replaced.

"Warm and welcoming"

Excellent stay at Violets View with my brother and sisters. Location was further from the centre than I thought but only £10 taxi for 4 of us. The house is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. A wee welcome bag was a lovely touch too. Thank you x

"A booking.com disaster turned into a triumph by the absolute last minute availability of Violet’s View"

A very modern and clean well equipped house with 5 bedrooms and five bathrooms. Perfect for our group of five old friends. After a omni shambles disaster with our original booking.com rental. We booked Violets View and were on the doorstep within 30 minutes. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who could not have been more helpful. The enclosed rear patio area is also very new and modern and I counted seating sufficient for 18 - thus making it ideal for a summer rental.

"Absolutely perfect"

We had an amazing stay at Violets View in Whitby. The house was superb, we were impressed with how clean, modern, well set out and spacious it is. The beds were lovely and comfy, lounge fantastic as a family room and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in! Host and stay were great - kept in touch, provided plenty of info about the property and very helpful. We look forward to visiting again.

The house was lovely and clean. Great welcome pack. Downstairs felt spacious and four ensuites were a bonus. We loved all the little seating areas outside. The exterior was also well kept. Lots of off road parking.

The cushions outside were absolutely sodden (only on one of the seating areas). Given the mostly dry weather lately, this was a surprise.
