The attention to detail and the cleanness of the property

The price was a bit high for the size of the property but still a very good space

Nothing really.

We arrived late at night exhausted, and at first glance the apartment looked lovely – but once inside, the reality was shocking. There was visible mold and black residue in the shower, and hairs scattered here and there (in the shower, on the bed, and on the floor). There was also dust on the nightstand, spider webs on the ceiling, and even several live spiders in the rooms and even moths and something like a woodlouse. In the kitchen there were crumbs, food residue and dirt under the cabinets and the kitchen island – clearly not cleaned properly for a long time. When we reported this, the host simply said that “the flat is lovely” and offered to send someone to clean. But this level of dirt and neglect is not something that can be fixed quickly – it looks like only surface-level cleaning was ever done, just enough for nice photos. We spent one very uncomfortable night there (had it been daytime, we would have left immediately) and had to quickly book another hotel at our own expense. We took many photos to document everything, and even the staff at our new hotel, after seeing them, said it was unacceptable. We booked this apartment because all the reviews were highly positive and we trusted them, but unfortunately this turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had. If you really value cleanliness, I strongly recommend avoiding this place!

apartment was clean and tidy

Overall it is a clean and very lovely apartment. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated, an important point for us. Good quality soap and shampoo. Every morning we sip coffee by the window, so nice and bright. We could park our car safely inside the gate. We were one floor up from ground, just be careful when you take your heavy luggage up the stairs. Sharon was very nice and we felt welcomed.

We got to the property at night around 11, eventhough Sharon clearly described how to get the gate key, but it was dark so we couldn’t find it easily.

The location was fine (central for many attractions in the Oxford area), the area OK, the street was so quiet in July and the flat was absolutely lovely in terms of facilities and decoration, couldn't ask for better. We went to Silverstone (less than an hour ) and Blenheim Palace (25 minutes) from there without the many attractions of Oxford itself. The security of having a locked area for the car was also very good.

The apartment is beautifully decorated. Everything is modern and very well done. We were on a two-week journey across Europe and England and we stayed in 9 different places. This was the nicest place we stayed in on the entire trip. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer.
