Location was spectacular! Magical, unique. Lunch at Laura under the lemon arbor with 6 tables was out best meal in Italy. The pesto was unmatched.

Getting around was very hard for our group. That said we had mountains goats visit us everyday to show Is how it’s done.

"THE BEST STAY WE HAD ON THE ITALIAN RIVIERA!!!!!"

We had the best stay imaginable at Casa dell’ Arco 31!! What an amazing host Emanuela is! This was by far the best experience of our 2 week stay in the Italian Riviera! She gave us great tips, and even twice searched us out to deliver items we left! The main way to reach here is by ferry. In this little village, the ferries stop running apx. 6pm, and there is no other way to get in (4 hour hike). So the village is changed from a daytime bustling swimmers paradise, to a feeling of being on very small island. So peaceful and quiet! …plus the lodging overlooks the water and the sound of waves are fantastic! The lodging is very easy to find! The last house in the village! For a small fee, she met us at the ferry dock for a quick transport of our belongings (a couple minutes)! The restaurants in the village are amazing (but I think only one is open after 6pm with 8pm seatings), and she also offers to provide staples for a meal (for a small fee). If you wish to self cater, you have to pick up provisions in the village you take the ferry from, as there are no markets. Bringing bottled water is optional. The tap water comes from a well and is delicious! A one way ferry is about 7 euros to the neighboring villages. If you are dining out anywhere in the Italian Riviera, YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS!! ... as we found many restaurants fully booked. The unit itself is very nice! All kitchen supplies etc. are provided. The bed very comfortable, large bathroom, and what a treat listening to the waves! I’d suggest minimum luggage to maximize your trip! We brought a backpack each! We hiked twice to "the farmhouse" (apx. 30 minutes) to have an amazing organic meal with an amazing ocean view!!! (agririfugiomolini.it) We would return to Casa dell’ Arco 31 in a heartbeat!!!
