A warm welcome from Vicky when we arrived. Rooms were very clean and had added extras like bathrobes and rocky road and shortbread. Breakfast was excellent. Freshly cooked and a large choice.

"Lovely stay in a welcoming bed and breakfast in the heart of a beautiful down in cumbria."

I liked how clean and comfortable the property is. Vikki is amazing, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and surrounding areas. She helped me to figure bus and train routes. There is also a book about the area and good places to eat, and a drawer in the bathroom that has little things in it such as toothpaste, dry shampoo and things you might forget to pack. cute little touches such as mini cheddars, chocolates on your pillow. Gary her husband was nice enough to give me a lift to the train station. Breakfast lovely and hot and there is a choice out what hot options that you would like as well as yoghurts, fruit, cereal and cereal bars and then apple, orange juice, tea and coffee I will definitely be returning and bringing my family with me too.

I loved every moment.
