"Warm and welcoming guesthouse and host"

Vicki the host was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic and the location was ideal for my needs. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely visiting again

"An enjoyable one night stay and preferable to hotels which sometimes can be impersonal."

The breakfast was excellent and the location was good as we wanted to be near Penrith town centre.The property was immaculate throughout and the bedroom spacious and comfortable.An excellent hostess.

The parking is limited due to the central location similar to all the B&Bs in the locality but luckily there was space for our car but it was not an issue to ourselves as at a push the car park could accommodate 3 cars,.

Well located for town, leisure centre and motorway. Parking outside. Lovely decor. Host very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast great. Easy walk into town. Would recommend

"Welcoming Host .Excellent rooms and Full Size Breakfast with multiple choices"

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room with separate en-suite shower room . Host Vicky recommended several Italian Restaurants and The Indian restaurant which she favoured. We walked around the town and settled on the Indian. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was excellent and we were hard put to empty our plates. Best get there early for parking in the back yard. The front parking place is on a busy road approaching traffic lights.

"Abbey House provided me with a great location, excellent facilities at a very affordable price"

The breakfast was freshly cooked and promptly served. The menu choice was varied and portion size was just right. This B&B rates as one of the best I have ever stayed in. The host, Vickie is to be complimented on her choice of decor in the rooms and her very pleasant manner when talking with guests.

I honestly can't fault this establishment
