The location was great.

At the last minute we were charged €25 for checking in at 10 pm. The woman came from the flat downstairs and just opened the door. She didn't know the WIFI and we had to wait 2 hours for the info. There was no welcome pack, not even water or soap. Porto is very cold this time of year, there was no hairdryer, when I asked they just said, sorry we don't have one. I was on holiday and had to go three days without washing my hair. There was lots of mould and the apartment was freezing. No heating in the bedrooms and a gas canister heater in the living room. The shower didn't have any barriers so the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower and the water stopped being hot after a few minutes. When I booked I asked for a late check out at midday as check out was 10am! I was told that would be ok. Today I received a rude message saying check out is 10am get out!!!!! This was our holiday, I expected to relax and be looked after, it is so disappointing that we have been left with bad memories.

Location was the best thing about it. It was comfortable and the rooms were a good size. It was good for 4 people. Also the host was gentle and nice, made us fell welcomed.

The shower was a challenge. It didn't drain properly. With the water on full pressure, it shot out of the shower and into the bathroom. It was hard to keep the bathroom dry.
