"We didn't even get inside the premises, our booking was not registered according to host."

I'm so sorry but we didn't even get to go inside the premises. This is not applicable.

Booking,com and the host seems not been communicating with each other? we booked this place way in advance and our booking was confirmed by booking.com. A day before, we were advised by booking.com to coordinate with the host who never communicated. We tried to contact the host by calling months before our booked date, no contact at all. Trusting booking.com and it's confirmation, we went to Dalat anyway, all 18 of us. Less than two hours before the intended check-in, the host finally answered in Vietnamese translated as " your reservation was not registered, etc..etc.", meaning we didn't have a place to stay. we messaged the host to communicate because we were in front of the premises then, no one was there to talk to and the gate was locked. All 18 people were left hanging! Imagine the panic not to mention the anger. Now, booking.com is still sending us to review...did you ever communicate?. booking.com confirmed the booking, the host did not. it's good a better place with good hosts who speak good english accomodated us. I think there's some piece missing in your system. how come booking.com didn't even know that we're not able to stay in this place?
