Room 01 - Sandhaven Rooms - Double

The guests in room 4 were partying all night which meant we didn’t sleep on Friday night. They were using the games room as their base, being extremely raucous, obnoxious and selfish. This is clearly the disadvantage of having unmanned accommodation like this; people, on occasion, will take advantage of the opportunity and abuse it. Thankfully, on the Saturday night, I disabled the television in the games room and hid the cue ball so they couldn’t make a racket all night playing pool. By the Saturday night they had argued themselves into a stupor of sleep, and the adolescent son was the only one of the family left standing, chatting on his phone, pacing up and down the corridor outside room no. 1. It’s a real shame as previous visits had been great. However, this shows how things can change dramatically from one stay to the next. I sincerely hope that the inbreds from Gateshead decide to stay closer to home next time and not descend upon South Shields. Your presence is definitely not welcome or appreciated.

Good to have use of kitchen

Shower in my room was either a dribble of warm water or a blast of scalding water. Downstairs room only had French doors which didn't feel safe leaving open overnight and no windows so room got unpleasantly hot. Noisy from rooms above.

Almost everything! Clean, comfortable, great location, very well priced. I recommend and would definitely stay again. I loved the arcades in the games room!

The shower pressure was a little temperamental. Not a huge issue but I'm sure the property will have rectified
