it’s warm

Firstly, I made this reservation well in advance and requested to check in at 10:00 am. The manager kindly accepted my request. However, I did not receive any information from him prior to my arrival, so I didn’t know how to access the property. I sent him several messages upon arrival, but he only replied two hours later with the instructions to enter the house. When I finally got inside, the apartment was untidy and dirty. The sheets had makeup stains, the fridge contained expired milk and an opened box with leftover cake, and the oven was filthy—I didn’t dare use it. In the bathroom, I found a used cotton swab. The environment was far from peaceful. The people staying on the second floor were noisy until midnight, and I could hear children running around during quiet hours. On the table outside the apartment, I found ashtrays full of cigarette butts, which appeared to have been there for days. I’ve attached pictures as evidence. I can’t believe I paid so much for this place, expecting at least clean spaces. As an accommodation, there should be basic standards for hosting guests.

navid's apartment was generally clean and cozy, comfortable for a group of 4, with a double bed, 2 sofa beds, a kitchen and bathroom. though it is located away from the city centre, the bus stop is a short walk away and the bus to the city centre is quite frequent and a journey of about 20 mins. his apartment is also close to the airport (10 min bus), so location-wise, it is quite convenient! navid was also a friendly and responsive host, and was quick to assist whenever we had questions. overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would recommend his place if you are visiting tromso!

The guy runs the apartment is very kind and willing to help, also the apartment is large, always warm and offers a lot of amenities.

The ap is spacious and located in a quiet area, 15-20 min by bus to Tromso centre (the station is 3 min walk from the house) so easy access and there is a supermarket down the street. It’s warm and the kitchen is ok for making breakfast. There is a smart tv which you can use for streaming

The floors and carpet are filthy!! They looked like the have never been been vacuumed or washed! It’s such a shame, because it’s not a lot of effort and it would make such a huge difference!! I was genuily worried to walk around the house without slippers! The path to the ap was full of ice and very slippery.
