Great location & great hosts. Beautiful property

Mike was a most gracious and informative host. A professional photographer, he has a keen aesthetic eye. The lush garden and saltwater pool were nice surprises.

Mike and Allen were the most gracious hosts in the most beautiful home that showcased their life together. It was like renting a bedroom in a museum, individual stories living in each item they’ve collected, plants with titles and dates to describe when they got them. I am a nerd for nature, art, and other people’s passions and life experiences, so we had a wonderful time looking at their gardens and their collections and chatting with them about their stories and experiences. You can feel the love when you walk into this Victorian space, it was cleanly and truly an exceptional experience. We’ve never been to Columbus before, so they had awesome recommendations for us coming in clueless. I had my first vendor gig as an artist in Franklin park across the street, so they helped us navigate through our first time experience, and although the event wasn’t promoted as promised, Mike and Allen shared interests in my boyfriend and my passions and we had great conversations. We all had a few drinks at their bar on their 3rd floor and Saturday morning they made a delicious breakfast where we shared more good conversations and laughs. If we ever come back to Columbus we know where we are coming!! Thank you guys so much for everything!! (I had more pics/vids but they took up too much storage so I had to move them onto a drive, but those are bleeding hearts!! And they’re cat Wood 🥹❤️)

I got so excited about it that I don’t think I read the description properly, so at first my boyfriend and I were shook because we thought we were getting the whole place for that price, so once we got there we were like “ohhhhhh” because we realized we just rented the one room and since that was the case we thought maybe we should’ve looked further into it so we could’ve possibly rented the basement for a little extra privacy, but after realizing that for a brief moment, there was not one regret. That was more of something we don’t like about ourselves (getting excited and not reading thoroughly, we both have adhd lol) rather than what Mike and Allen had to offer. They were wonderful and I’m honestly so much happier we got to live with them for 2 days, they gave us more info than we could’ve ever known about the area if we had been just by ourselves.

Mike & Allen are the most hospitable people! From opening up their kitchen to us to the hot tub and so much more. Truly a relaxing weekend. The bonus is their garden beds! And soon they open their pool.

Friendly, gave a tour as soon as we arrived and you can check in at noon! The house is beautiful, the top floor bar area was a big surprise. Then of course being able to use the hot tub out in the snow at anytime, the massagers on those jets and my back, we didn’t want to get out. The conversation was great, there was Information provided that showed everything near by. The park across the street was a nice reprieve and very peaceful.

That we didn’t book longer, we are already planning another trip up.
