Cozy home with all necessary accommodations

The roosters went crazy and would start crowing at all hours, even at 2am at night. Grab ride is a bit longer than staying on the south side of the river.

Property has great amenities. Host is very friendly.

Roosters and call to prayers can last too long.

Apesar de não estar muito perto do centro da cidade, ficava perto o suficiente para se chegar lá em 20 min, mais ou menos. Também gostei do host, o Zack, que foi muito acolhedor e que me deu todas as indicações do que fazer para poder ir às principais atrações.

Não houve nada em particular que não tivesse gostado.

Nice house. Rooms have private bath. Cozy common areas. Quiet part of the city. Friendly host.

Guest kitchen could be better stocked. Far from downtown and boat across the river stops around 6 PM, so had to take a grab sometimes.

- Zek is an incredibly kind, open-minded, and helpful host who is genuinely interested in your well-being and your stories. He was the reason why I booked this and he is the reason why I will book eith him again when I come back to Kuching - The location is great! Located on the other side of the river in a more residential area, it's not so touristy and it's a cool feeling staying with the locals. Getting to city center only takes a 2-minute walk and a one-minure boat ride for 3 Ringgit. - The house is clean and very convenient. The rooms are spacious - Zek has cats that greet you every morning when you step out if the house door (they are outside and not IN the homestay) - The price is fantastic and there is a free water refilling station, coffee, tea, and so on. - Please treat Zek with the same amount of kindness with which he treats you :)

- You are in a more rural area so there are roosters making noise at night. Be aware of that and maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

I stayed here for over 2 months and cannot express enough how perfect my stay has been. Zak thinks of everything before you even realise you need it yourself. Little things like making sure the light is turned on in the hall for when you arrive home or wake up early, or a roti on the table for you at breakfast. This place really felt like home. Zak offers trips and tours too, and tailors them to whatever it is you want to get from your visit to this beautiful place. Whether you want to tour every day, or you need a place to rest a while, or you are a digital nomad...this place is perfect for everyone. The area around the homestay was very clean and peaceful, with a calm village atmosphere that made our stay truly relaxing. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The house was comfortable, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities we needed. Wi-Fi connection was stable, and there was ample parking space. It’s also conveniently located near local shops and attractions. Highly recommended for a quiet and pleasant getaway.

Zack is so friendly and helpful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. While it's on the north side of the river from city center, it's very easy to get downtown by Grab or by boat for just a couple of ringgit. I actually like very much how it's a little removed from the centre of action and is very peaceful at night. The common areas are well equipped and it looks like there's even enough to cook a full meal if one wished to do so. The bed in my room was comfortable. I had a great sleep each night. Zack even offers tours (extra $ of course). He brought me out to Semenggoh and a couple of other stops at a reasonable cost. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and basic toiletries were provided.

There was nothing for me to dislike.
