Zoe's cozy room 1

We stayed for a total of eight nights in October. The room was was very clean when we arrived and the host dropped around fresh linen and towels mid way through our stay which was very nice. Check in was very easy. I get nervous sometimes when there is no physical person to meet with, however Zoe’s instructions were very helpful and made it so easy. The room is in a great location very close to restaurants, the main street , a mini grocery store and the beaches. We did a beach walk everyday. Our international flight was an early one which meant we had to organise an early taxi, Zoe was able to assist with this and made it very easy. The taxi driver turned up on time.

I read some previous reviews about the water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, for most of our stay this wasn’t a big issue at all, however, the last couple of nights of our stay the water was dripping out of the ceiling even when the hot water was turned off at the switch board. The shower head attachment also didn’t sit very well and kept dropping at a downward angle, luckily it has a detachable head so we could use that to get hot water on us. The shower was also a bit slow to drain. These issues weren’t dealbreakers and we still had a lovely stay. If the host is able to get these things fixed then I think it would be an awesome little place. The internet was a bit spotty sometimes.

Check in is very easy. The location is good for proximity to the airport. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is perfectly clean.

The shower isn't great. Otherwise everything is perfect.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, there is a coffee machine and also a bottle of water in the fridge.

Not a nice location, the shower curtain fell off while showering and also the towel holder.

Loved the easiness from the metro and bus to the apartment In a lovely place right next to the beach Lots of good restaurants and access to local Greek life Check in was easy. Instructions easy to follow. Room was so clean and had everything you could want Hot water worked perfectly Thank you Zoe for such a special place

Cockroaches on the bed, church noise, leaking bathroom ceiling, broken door handles.

We chose to get a place closer to the airport for the last night, since we needed to leave in the middle of the night to catch an early plane.

The room itself was pretty nice, comfortable bed, two bed sheets available, the AC worked very well which is important for us.

Location was nice. Easy to get to the beach, and restaurants and grocery store really close by. As a side note, we would really recommend checking out Artemis Grill House (barbecue restaurant), it seemed like a very popular place, for good reasons! The food was delicious. The gyros was way better than a lot of the places we tried in Athens! Even vegetarian options.

We struggled a bit finding the place, becuase google maps did not tell us the correct position of it (it was not in front of the white church, but in the green building on the street to the left of the church). We tried calling the number here on booking.com, and the lady that answered sounded a bit mad and frustrated (might be cultural differences), telling us we do not have a booking. Eventually we were able to come to an agreement that we did have a booking but that she was no longer the manager of that specific room. Her tone became more friendly when we understood each other, and she was able to help us find the apartment and get inside. The only complaint for the apartment itself, would be the bathroom. There were no shower curtains, so you had to be careful not to get water everywhere when showering. And there seemed that there was an issue with the warm water, so it can only be on for 15 minutes, unless we misunderstood something. What we did notice when it was turned on is that the roof in the bathroom started leaking water, so that’s a bit scary, but I think it stopped when the warm water was turned off. Lastly, the door handle to the bathroom was also not functioning as it should, I had to ask my partner to close it from the outside, and also open it for me twice, because the door handle didn’t work from the inside sometimes…

We'd stayed 10 days earlier so we knew that the location was perfect and the facilities were as described. The room itself is small, however the bed was large and comfortable. the bathroom big and modern, the kitchenette had everything we needed. There is a lift to the floor which helps with luggage.
