Coach House B & B

A wonderful friendly welcome from David and Beverley, who also explained about the facilities and how breakfast was ordered. The decor and attention to detail was beautiful and every care taken to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a treat. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil you could need so you could choose to eat in or not. The breakfast menu was incredible, we felt thoroughly spoiled and it was sufficient to see us through to tea time, with lovely fresh fruit and a delicious cooked option. My omelette with salmon was scrumptious. The Coach House is in a wonderful location for access to Alnwick and only a short drive to explore beaches in the locality for walking. On one sunny afternoon it was lovely just to chill in the garden on the decked area and relax , listening to the birds chirping. In the evening it is a very quiet area. David and Beverley were happy to help us with finding local venues and walks, they really were fantastic hosts. Best experience of B&B we have had .

Fantastic property in a great location down a quiet private road. Really comfortable . David and Beverley were amazing hosts and could not do enough to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast choice was great with really good quality produce and delivered to your room at a time of choosing. We had a fantastic week at The coach house and would not hesitate to recommend it. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed

Parking space a bit tricky

Great location, with a short walk into town. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice and tea and cake was offered on arrival. Everything was in the room that you could possible want, with nice decor and very comfy bed!

Absolutely fabulous place. I booked a place in Alnwick almost as an afterthought, but didn't want to leave at the end of the visit. David and Beverley (the hosts) were lovely and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. There's a decent eatery across the road from the B&B and the Northumbria beaches are only a short drive away. Had never visited Alnwick before and was surprised at how much there was to do. Only wish I'd visited when I was more mobile!

No real gripes. Did drive up and down the road a few times looking for the place, but had I read the helpful email the host's had sent out, that might have been less of a chore!

We stayed in 'The Groom's Loft' and can't recommend it enough! The property is absolutely spotless, with quality bedding, furniture and fittings and a large bathroom with full size bath, separate double size shower, quality towels, dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries. On arrival we were greeted by the loveliest hosts and Jimmy the dog who is adorable. There was even a pot of tea and cake with was a really thoughtful touch. We loved that our room had it's own private landing where we could enjoy our breakfast each morning. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of freshly cooked options, including lighter choices, fresh pastries, cereals, porridge and fresh fruit & yoghurt. There is secure parking at the property and if heading out on foot it's the perfect location as it's only a short walk to eateries and shops and the perfect base for tourist spots. We'll definitely be returning!

Can't fault one thing about our stay it was everything and more than expected. He went above and beyond for us. We stayed 2 nights but had to be out by 6am the first morning as we were doing a charity walk so Dave brought our breakfast items in the night before. When we got back the room had been tidied for us. The breakfast the second morning was outstanding, Dave brought this in fully cooked and did all the cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend the eggy bread with bacon and maple syrup it was unreal. We would definitely recommend to stay here and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for making our stay amazing, relaxing and comfortable.
