Everything about the accommodation was first class. Dave and Bev are fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming and had tea and cake ready for us on arrival. The Tack Room where we stayed was immaculate and couldn't be faulted in any way. The breakfast selection was unbelievable and delicious. We would not hesitate to book here again. We can't wait to go back.

The Groom's Loft is like a little apartment all to itself. It's own private staircase on to a landing where a table is set for breakfast. A mini fridge with milk and tea and coffee making facilities are located there, plenty to choose from. Glasses for wine etc are also provided. Fantastic spacious bathroom with large bath, separate double shower and a plentiful supply of luxuriously soft towels, beautifully decorated. Toiletries are also provided. Bedroom/living room provides a comfortable retreat. Plenty of storage space for belongings, comfy sofa and tv. The accommodation is so quiet. Only a few minutes from Alnwick town centre and all its amenities. Breakfast is a delight. Exceptional choice brought to you at a prearranged time to your breakfast area overlooking their walled garden, an absolute joy. Finally, the hosts, David and Beverley (and Jimmy the dog) are wonderful. You feel welcome even before you arrive with a courtesy call to check arrival time and to confirm directions etc. When you are there, you instantly feel at ease and very welcome. They are a fountain of knowledge about the area and are genuinely a fantastic couple.

Nothing - it is really the best place to stay when in Alnwick as a couple who want pampering and peace and quiet.
