Mike was very kind, and communication was excellent. Upon arrival, he gave a clear explanation and showed me around the entire property. The pool and hot tub are outstanding and perfect for relaxing during the stay. The location is great, with several restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay there again next time I visit Columbus.

EVERYTHING. The house is absolutely stunning and the hosts provide a really fun little house tour upon check-in. If you’re into historic homes, you’ll love this place. Mike and Allen were both super friendly and ready to give recommendations, chat, etc. They also have a very sweet 18 year old orange kitty cat 🐈 I could rave about their backyard and pool all day long. First of all, the backyard is like a garden oasis - soooo many gorgeous plants that are obviously well taken care of - we had fun walking around looking at the different plants and their markers, showing what year they were planted. They had a fiddle leaf from the 80s!! So fun. THE POOL. The pool was superb. It’s saltwater and heated, and it doesn’t get much better than that. The natural salinity takes so much pressure off of your joints, so if you’re arthritic like me, I would absolutely recommend coming here for the pool alone and just floating for a while. We didn’t even get the chance to use the hot tub because we enjoyed the pool so much. So peaceful - you would never know you were in the middle of a city block. Something also worth mentioning - they must have the pool salt system down to an exact science; the water was so… neutral. I’m not sure how else to describe it - you don’t feel super salty afterward like you do coming out of the ocean - it really felt like luxurious, warm bath water. I could go on & on all day long! There’s a fabulous park across the street that we walked (so many dogs to pet!) and enjoyed. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable. We had the downstairs unit, and it was very clean and comfortable. The floors were even heated!!! Just fab. We were in town briefly for a concert, but wish we could’ve stayed a week. We will absolutely be back - Columbus is a super fun city and Mike and Allen’s place alone is worth coming back for!

We loved the location! The host were both very friendly and Allen greeted us upon arrival and gave us a key and tour. We had the room in the basement which had an easy path to the pool and bathroom close. We spent from 10pm-12am in the pool (no time restrictions on the pool) just enjoying the 90 degree salt water. IT WAS AMAZING! There is a bar out there and you can use their ice, cups and fridge. There are also some drinks that are there by donation only. We BYOB and had a great pool night. We were the only guest that night and it was a great one-night getaway. We drove in from Akron to visit UMI Hot Pot and Sushi buffet and it was also great! highly suggest it! The Asian festival was going on in the park right across the street so that was also a fun event we attended. The front porch swing is also very cozy!

The only downfall was the hot tub was not working, and they said it was getting fixed on Friday. We also were hoping to see the cat that lived there. He had cute little doors in our room but never made an appearance.

We loved the pool and the bed. Super comfortable.

We would've liked a lock on the door to the basement but we understood why there wasn't one.

I’m so glad I picked this place for our stay! We were in town for a dance competition and this location was perfect. The house is gorgeous, hosts were wonderful and helpful, everything was comfortable. Pool was closed for the evening but we enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub. Super sweet cat as well!
