Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt was oké maar niet bijzonder. De locatie is centraal, vlakbij het Jemaa El Fna plein.

De foto’s op de website van Booking.com geven geen realistisch beeld. De Riad oogt licht en ruim, terwijl de werkelijkheid donkerder en een stuk kleiner is. De kamer waarin ik verbleef viel tegen: ze deed denken aan een sobere kloosterkamer, met een harde matras en zonder raam. Dat zorgde voor een benauwd en onaangenaam gevoel.

El riad es muy bonito y pintoresco. Fácil de encontrar; está muy cerca de la Plaza Jemaa El Fna. Estaba todo limpio y las camas eran cómodas. El desayuno tradicional marroquí es muy completo y abudante. El personal muy servicial y atento. Todo fue muy bien!

En general, estuvo todo muy bien; no tengo comentario negativo. Por decir alguna cosa a mejorar desde mi preferencia personal son las almohadas; para mi eran muy bajas y flojas.

The property is a genuine traditional riad, and it is beautiful. It is attractively presented and well furnished. It was a pleasure to return to each day. It felt like coming home. The staff were helpful and welcoming. They served a traditional breakfast, which was nicely presented and was more than adequate. It was located in the heart of the traditional souk, close to the central square, with access to restaurants and banking facilities. It was close to many interesting attractions. It was an excellent choice and provided an excellent base for a most enjoyable stay in Marakesh.

The riad is buried deep inside the souk. There is a car park close to the entrance to the passages within the souk, so it is easy to get to, but it is not possible to drop off luggage putside the riad. However, this will not cause a problem to someone with normal strength and mobility. (I am 75, and I was fine.)
