"Hot, noisy and no WiFi apartment in La Spezia"

Location

1) It is a smoking apartment. We are a non-smoking family. The smell of smoke was terrible. 2) The air conditioning unit was tiny and could not cool the bedroom and the living room (sofa bed). The temperature inside the apartment was 27.4°C during the night!! 3) The windows are old and do not keep out the noise - the apartment is situated on a very busy road. 4) It was complicated trying to enter the apartment. The owner did not arrive in person. Instead he sent us instructions in Italian how to open a deposit box where the key to the apartment was stored. 5) The WiFi did not work. 6) The owner of the property does not speak English (even though the website advertised otherwise). 7) The bathroom dirty. 8) There was no shampoo or shower gel (even though the website advertised otherwise).
