Highly recommend this property! Definitely worth staying for! Prime location: the property is just next to Dogo Park and about 5-7 mins walk outside the shopping area of Dogo Onsen and Dogo Onsen Honkan. It is perfect for those who prefer quiet and peaceful environment. We do suggest do your grocery shopping before arriving Dogo Onsen. There were Aeon and other supermarkets on the way to Dogo Onsen. It was a bit tricky to find the way to the entrance/drive way from Google Map or GPS. They both took us to Dogo Park, which is where the property was located next to then struggle to get to the property. But manpower fixed the problem so I wouldn’t worry too much. Room design: the property has mixed modern Japanese style design in the bedroom and toilet and Taisho style design in the dining area. Love the balance between antique and contemporary. We absolutely love the dining room and the lounge, especially when we are enjoying our coffee time. Appliances and cutlery: the most equipped kitchen I have ever seen in guesthouse. It looks like the property maybe used for catering purposes beforehand (or specifically designed for a very good cook). There is an industrial grade fridge (even we only used the little one as requested) and a cabinet full of beautiful plates and bowels. Our dinner and breakfast almost turned into a fine dining experience. Bathroom: this is definitely the highlight of the property. We knew 源泉掛け流し is the highly regarded in onsen but we never tried one until staying here. It was fascinating to know that you can get the onsen straight from the sauce. It was a wonderful experience. And we now know why previous guests all said they went to the bath multiple times. Prompt reply: the host replies any enquires pretty much straight away and was very helpful. We did accidentally parked at the wrong spot so please accept our late apologies. Check-in/check-out: there is a tablet for check-in and check-out.

No washing machine: it does not affect us as such since we only stayed overnight and the weather wasn’t too hot. It can be an issue for longer stay guests. Maybe some handy information for coin laundry for guests who wish to wash the clothes.

Overall, it is very clean. The building and interior design are also stylish. The tiles, windows, door frames, and dishes are all cute and beautiful. The staff is quick to respond and helpful. The location of the accommodation is about a 5-minute walk to the hot spring area, so there are many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. There are two rooms. It is a house, so the space is good.

However, the pillows were not comfortable. The window is right above my head, so it might be a little cold in the winter. NOTE: The address on Booking.com is incorrect. If you look at Google Maps, it shows the house in front, not here. It's easy to find the name of this accommodation, The Feet Dogo. Anyway, it is a place I want to come back to again.
