2 Bed Gated Apartment Westport 15 The Anchorage The Quay F28 V342

We were met by Kate who kindly guided us to the apartment block when we ended up at the wrong end of the street. The private parking area behind the building is very convenient and the lift especially useful for carrying up groceries/luggage. The apartment is spacious and well laid out with views from the lounge and main bedroom over the water towards the quay. We were particularly pleased that both rooms had wardrobes with plenty of hangers and bedside drawers so we didn’t have to live out of our suitcases. Small bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided.

The kitchen equipment seemed to be brand new and there was plenty of space for food preparation. However it would have been useful to have basics like washing powder, plus cling wrap, kitchen towel and serving dishes for the days we wanted to cook. But it didn’t detract from our time there.

Excellent property clean, warm, secure, well appointed.

Lift servicing apartments was slow, but not the fault of the property.

Lovely property, views of the river and location to Westport.

Only one thing. I'm 6 foot 1 and the shower head in the bath was a little short to reach above my head and the water power a little weak. But was grand.

I was familiar with this area of Westport, this apartment to me would be better than a hotel room, beautiful view, so comfortable, there is a good selection of places to eat and you are right beside Westport House. I cooked both evenings, the kitchen is excellent.

Two keys would have been helpful.

Fantastic apartment excellent location beautiful setting overlooking the water, excellent facilities and very nicely decorated. Would highly recommend, and Hosts were very accommodating, thank you for a great weekend.
