Host & Stay - Villa Otto

it was close to the coast and modern décor, convenience store across the road, and we managed to amke use of the overnight street parking outside and the car park within a few minutes to minimise parking costs. bedrooms were really good for the kids and a big factor for us was that it was dog friendly. also likely the tvs in every room. kitchen was also well presented. we would stay here again next year when we visit Cromer again, it was perfect for us as a family of 5 with a small dog. Also we didnt have time to make use of it as we were mostly out touring norfolk but that tv downstairs was massive, would be great for a movie night for sure!

it was a little tricky at the start to know we needed to go through the alleyway to the back to get the keys. but not really a negative point, just better to be clearer after a long drive, the road is quite busy so wanted the kids inside asap. very minor point. another very small point that probably cant be helped but with the house being on the main road, meant we could hear cars sometimes at night if they went past fast, this disturbed my wife more than me, again wouldn't stop us staying again and i can only think that it could be improved with soundproofing or triple glazed windows. we also couldn't use the shower downstairs on the second day as we notified you of a leak into the kitchen, but that couldnt be helped, wasnt too bad as there was a bath and a second shower upstairs. a minor inconvenience that should be fixed now we have reported it.

Excellent well equipped property lovely decor.

Location excellent. Centre of town everything was easily accessible.

Property wasn't clean in some areas. Windows were dirty both inside and outside in the ground floor bedroom. Bed was squeaky due to loose bolts and brick dust on skirting from exposed walls. Freezer needs defrosting. Courtyard needs attention. Overgrown with dilapidated furniture and BBQ.

House decor, plenty of bedrooms, close to the beach. Comfortable and spacious.

Location on busy one way street, very noisy. Musty damp smell, kitchen not clean, very small counter top in corner of kitchen, cafetiere not useable. No hand towels left on beds for guests, only one tea towel, lacking toilet roll. Shower slow draining. No welcome basket or dog treats at least for dog guest. Very complicated TV system. No key fob for front door. No instructions to find key safe to enter property. Courtyard garden area was overgrown and in need of maintenance.

The house itself was lovely and presented wonderfully over four floors to a really high standard. It was very clean with plenty of facilities for our family stay. Lovely close walking distance to the town centre and beach from the location.

The only issue was the front bedroom of the house at the bottom is so close to the main road and this road is fairly noisy, could do with some darker curtains and blinds and possibly something to just cover the windows to prevent as much noise. The house itself though was wonderful and such great value for money. It could have been a bit more clearly instructed through private message as to where the keysafe was as I was informed in message and phone call where this was however it was not in location I was told.

The location was absolutely fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the bath was lovely.

We'd paid a lot of money to stay over Christmas. The game room sold it for us but it was unusable. There was no remote for the telly and the instructions to control the telly without the remote didn't work. I tried reaching out on the first morning after we arrived and the response I received was from a bot or AI. Nothing useful and nothing helpful in response. Messages were sent back and with no resolution. Needless to say time was spent and wasted trying to get it resolved without success. Such a disappointment and had we known we wouldn't have booked.
