Unit 309 at Menlyn Place

No air-conditioning and bathrooms are a bit tight. Otherwise perfect location and very nicely decorated

On Saturday there were people revving a motor vehicle as if it was in a mechanic shop. Thereafter there were 2 gunshots from the exact people that were playing with their vehicles. They were highly intoxicated and in fact shot the window of the hospital across the road. Felt very scared and uncomfortable after that. Security did not even deal with the issue on had. Will most definitely never go back there.

The accomodation is very central to a lot of key areas within the Menlyn area/district. It’s actually a walking distance to Menlyn mall, but we mainly used our car. The living room and kitchen aesthetics are very pretty.

The elevator/ lift is faulty and didn’t work for most of the duration of our stay. There are stairs so it would be great for the host to at least let guests know in advance that they might be forced to take stairs. The apartment is generally decent and pretty but the bathrooms could do with modern day refurbishment.

Clean and comfortable. Convenient situation.

Electric cord on the fan too short. Fan too close to the bed at night.

Location, near Menlyn Main

The apartment block needs attention. Not been taken care off. People sitting on the steps on our way to the unit. Parking not clearly numbered.
