After booking we where told that towels and electricity wasn’t included. We all had multiple insect bites.

The place was clean and spacious enough for a family, with a kitchen, which has all basic equipment to cook simple meals. The kitchen was the reason I decided to choose the place instead of a hotel room, but next time only in warmer weather.

Well, The electricity is not included! So I'm writing it here. This is not at all clear in the description, it is only mentioned at the bottom, you easily miss it. I have never come across any booking where electricity is not included... especially since the rent (90£)is not exactly cheap.. And I understand now. The place was so cold... It is in a holiday park, that btw. Is not clear from the description either.. neither the address provided leads you there, as Google maps show a street opposite the holiday park.. basically you figure that out only because of the closeness of the lake and because they mentioned reception in the directions... The chalet was very cold in early April, you spend 5£ per day just for basic heating of the rooms and are still freezing in the morning.... I would stay again as the chalet was otherwise nice, but only from May onwards. And last thing, it is semi-detached with another chalet. So you will hear neighbours TV in your bedrooms.

Equipment was minimal; no cafetiere, knives blunt, only two cups, frying pan long lost its non-stick. Wrong code for keybox, had to phone to get the right one. Instructions were sparse - eg for television. Electricity required a card to be paid for on site - that hadn't been made clear in the original offer and added to the cost.

Property was lovely clean with nice finishes and liked that there were cds and games.lovely surroundings like lake waterfall and shops cafe bar and swimming pool

Shower was difficult took time to suss out wife still couldn't get hot at times
