Unit 406 at Menlyn Place

Would suggest aircons in the unit, as the fans are to small and the heat and humidity in Pretoria is very high. FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR THE UNIT OTHER APARTMENTS HAVE AIRCONS.

Location

The apartment was lovely. The decor was comfortable and modern. The host also had fans in the bedrooms which made the heat wave bearable. I loved the bathroom and the little touches by the host

The sounds from the highway were awful, I could barely sleep. The apartment complex the unit is located in looks very sketchy from the outside and the lift was awful. If I had seen the exterior of the apartment complex, I probably wouldn't have booked but the lovely apartment made up for it.

Location was accessible

There is no Air Conditioner The lift was not working, The Gate keepers are not welcoming and not giving us information.

The main building is in BAD condition and poorly maintained. Unit on 4th floor, the lift is in terrible condition and very unsafe. Felt very unsafe during our stay and if I saw photos of the building, would have never booked a stay - very disappointed, checked out early

The apartment is very spacious and well laid out with 2 bedrooms, and all amenities. The wifi is very fast, the cable TV was something we sincerely liked and the unit was very clean, and gets serviced and cleaned frequently. The Host is exceptionally supportive, and so is house keeping, they made us feel warm and welcome from the minute we arrived and supported us with luggage and anything else we may have required. The apartment is very closely situated to large malls and in a very prime area. The host provided us with a key tag for entry, as well as a private lock up garage.

I think that opportunities for improvement could be service of the lock-up garage door which is not easy to open and close especially for women travelers. Also, maintenance can be applied to the elevator for more comfort feeling.
