2BR chalet w hot tub, porch & refreshing views

The location is perfect for someone who lives in town 100 yards from a train track and a fire station directly beside that. Never heard pitch silence before (other than the sounds God intended). Very relaxing, place was perfect balance of modern with that old rustic cabin vibe. Loved the doorknob to the bedroom isn’t painted over, and you can still see the original, beautiful craftsmanship from the past. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances. Overall, will absolutely book again.

Can’t say too much about the dislike. Was overall great. guess if I had to say anything, a tad bit more outdoor lighting near parking area would be beneficial, I know with the location you don’t want stadium lights but a dim light or something sensor would be nice. I saw a big light up on the power line pole but didn’t know if it even worked. But other than that…not much to say.

The host is very courteous and easy to communicate with.

The lovely views on the property, the stream out back and the very nice fire pit setup. Quiet and peaceful surroundings.

The hot tub was nice but we didn't use it because there was no door to access right off the house you have to walk outside to get to it. It would be nice if there was a door to access it directly from the house.

Location

We loved the cleanliness of the cabin. The beds were comfy, clean soft linens. The hot tub was wonderful, as was the fire pit. It had soaps and shampoo. Also feel very kid friendly. We loved enjoying the games, and of course that our pup could join the fun. Most of all the host was magnificent and answered right away when I had any questions.

I feel the yard was neglected. It's fall yes, but the grass was extremely high...8 inches or so, and the flower beds could look better. They were full of dead weeds. Having to walk to the fire pit or hot tub would've been better with maintained lawn. If im setting on the porch I want it to feel nice, looking at flowers or something other than weeds. . Also, the water pump clicking anytime the water was on was kind of an annoyance but shut doors helped that. The hot tub quit our last night but honestly just a fluke. We hated it but the host did everything he could to help from afar.

Very cozy, clean and has a sense of simplicity.

There is nothing we didn’t like. Beautiful, quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of life. So relaxing.
