Very welcoming host; free upgrade to my room. Excellent staff (translate App). Perfect location on Mekong River but more calm area. Easy walk to the night and morning markets, Royal Palace, many Wats, Phousi Hill. Beautiful private balcony to watch the world go by. Big colonial style room with hardwood floors, brick, wood and whitewashed walls, large modern bathroom with big sink/mirror/shelf, and separated shower so sink and toilet area remain dry. Kettle in room and use of kitchen available. The hotel is actually labeled “Fortunate Angle “

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect - opposite the river, perfect for sitting on your balcony with a coffee in the morning. Close to everything in town, plenty of restaurants and bars. The hosts were spectacular, they make you feel like part of the family. Everything you could want at a great price.

"Very pleasant stay at Fortunate Angel Guest house."

The guest house is really well located, closed to the Mekong, the night Market. Perfect location to attend the Tak Bai ceremony. Very good value for money. Our room was spacious, well decorated and the bedding is very comfortable. The owner was very welcome. We enjoy our two nights !
