"Good House. Bad situation."

5.0

We loved the house, location and all the amenities that came with the house. It was a bit farther from the beach then it looked on the map. So, walking with small kids beware. There is also no Golf Cart Parking at the beach closets to the house and it is mostly a private beach. That you do not have access to unless you pay a ton of money. WELCOME TO FLORIDA. However, the board walk to the beach is nice. Lots of stairs down to the beach. So if you have someone that has trouble walking beware. But, that is most of Seaside/Seagrove. The house was very clean and had lots of space for a big party to spread out. The master had a large walk in closet and I was able to put the baby bed in there and it stayed quiet enough for her to sleep. Very nice open and large kitchen/living space. Everyone felt together even if you were cooking or watching tv.

House: You do not get a key to the house. You get a key code to the garage door, which leads into an unlocked house. Which is the same code to the main gate. We also found out on day one that it is also the same code everyone else in the community has. House/Management Company: On our first full day there the AC in the house went out. Which is not really anyone's fault. Things like that happen. However, there was no quick solution. My husband had to stay up until midnight waiting on the AC guy. Who then informed us he couldn't fix it that night. It was a holiday weekend and no one could get out to fix it. So, we were moved to another home. But, we could only stay there two nights because someone else was coming in. Then we were moved again. However, this time it was what we could call a FRAT house. The floors were sticky, the pool was so murky you couldn't see the bottom. It stunk like beer. We had our six month old with us and I WAS NOT going to sit her on any surface in that house. We did not stay in the frat house. We ended up cutting our trip short and going home. This review is more on the management company. We had to move every day of our trip. Lost amenities such as a golf cart and close beach access. In the beginning we just kept getting a "I'm Sorry" response. I work in property management myself and I know when someone is trying to beat around the bush with a "I'm sorry". On our third move to the frat house we were originally offered a greasy pizza for dinner one night and then when we said no to that that we were offered beach chairs. We have a 6 month old so having chairs for a day isn't great since we cant spend more than a hour on the beach anyways. We did end up getting a small refund. But, honestly it was only after I had enough and lost my mind on the management company. Moving 7 adults and a baby over and over was not okay.
