Charming 1880s 2BD Haworth Home

The location was excellent just a few minutes walk into the main street of Haworth, the main park in Hawarth and the steam Railway station of Hawarth. The House is on a quiet, steep cobbled Yorkshire street and as suggested we parked our car easily at the road at the bottom just a short 30 sec walk away. The house is spacious with a nice living/eating area and kitchen, a bedroom and bathroom one floor up (very steep stairs) and then another bedroom with a sofa and TV area on the top floor. The place is decorated in a lovely original and colourful manner - no bland magnolia in sight. Lovely stay in an authentic Yorkshire property.

I don't really like booking places that seem to be managed through companies with forms to fill in and managed by a 3rd party. It is all very impersonal. We had to pay a £300 deposit but it was returned promplty after it had been cleaned (though there was no notification of this) . The cleaning company/maintenance company did not keep on top of everything so we had to alert the owners (the contact) that the icebox was completely sealed with ice so could not be used, the drains needed some attention outside, a kitchen cupboard draw front fell off and a few door handles were loose. No big deal but these things should be attended to esp if a 3rd paty is managing a property.

Lovely location, very peaceful, comfortable decor.

Key box did not open on arrival, owner by text was helpful, said I had to hit it hard. That worked!

Great location 2 mins walk to the shops great views from the house house was perfect had everything you needed in it highly recommend this property definitely be back

Pretty much spot on really apart from couldn't park the car outside really because the road isnt great but that's not a big issue as plenty space on the about 50 metres from the house

Property was clean. Great location for a weekend of sightseeing beautiful Haworth. Would fully recommend.

The house is very cluttered and is need for undusting. Upstairs TV not working and batteries in the remote control have leaked long time ago. Kitchen cupboards smell musky and strong sewage smell comes from kitchen drain. Not a spoonful of coffee in cupboard. Seasonally inappropriate extra thick duvets. The overall feel of the house is that it is as clean as left by previous occupants and exactly as left by previous owners.
