The whirlpool tub jets threw out dirt

We loved everything about this place when we were looking to book a cabin. The view, location, half wrap around porch, etc. Whole there were mixed reviews, we wanted to give it a chance.

We were emailed instructions before our trip (codes, WiFi information, etc.) however, the WiFi did not work so our reception was very spotty. It was difficult sending texts and/or making calls due to incorrect WiFi information. We were emailed a password and WiFi name but then the cabin fridge had a completely different WiFi name and password written on a piece of paper. Neither of these worked. This isn’t a huge deal to me personally, but the beds were VERY stiff and hard. I tossed and turned for awhile before I got some sleep but sleep was overall limited. The main concern was after our first night, our cabin got extremely hot and the inside temp got up to 85 degrees. I notified customer service around 8pm and at 11pm we were asked to relocate to another cabin in a completely different cabin complex. Someone was supposedly supposed to drop off AC window units but no one ever stopped by with them. We were told that they would try to look at the cabin’s AC first thing in the morning and get back to us, so we only took essentials with us for the one night at the other cabin. The next day rolled around and I didn’t hear from anyone all day so at 2pm the next day I reached out to them and they confirmed that our AC likely will not get fixed so we would need to move everything out and into the other cabin. At first, we tried to make the most of it but unfortunately it affected our plans. We spent half of our day waiting on an answer and then when we finally got it, it took about 2-3 hours to relocate. We were already settled in and had many groceries we had to move. There were also 10 of us who went for a girls trip so we needed to make several trips back and forth between the two cabins. Unfortunately, the cabin we were relocated to did not have the same amenities as this cabin. The view wasn’t even close to the same, the porches weren’t as large, and we were not given the pool access information so we could not swim even though we really wanted to.

The upstairs tub needed cleaning, when the keys were turned on it was not clean. The tvs need to be updated to smart tvs in all the rooms.

Both of the pull out beds the mattresses had mold and urine stains, the one down stairs was broken an cracker thin falling through the frame. One of the main beds had blood stained sheets. Crusty cheese stuck to one on the spare blankets. The showers didn’t drain. The Hot Tub didn’t work. The grill wouldn’t light…. what else??? oh and when I called 3 times and was told we would get new mattresses or even air mattresses.. they brought sheets and that was it. The hot tub was never fixed and they never brought new beds! We paid almost $1,400 dollars for a 2 night stay with 8 people and 2 beds and one that was still iffy because luckily they brought extra sheets to change the blood stained ones! My husband and I were renewing our vows with friends in Gatlinburg and this cabin made me completely sick to my stomach for our special weekend. I will never return and I will most definitely warn everyone I know about it! I tried very nicely the first two times I called.. by the third time I was fed up! Never Again!! I have more photos and they’re all horrible!
