Kyomachiya Momo - Vacation STAY 29895v

Furutani-sama are wonderful! We loved our stay from the first minute one day before. We prepared to receive our luggage a couple of hours after we arrived and we've set everything. Unfortunately we have been contacted by them, that our luggage arrived one day early but they were outrageously kind and friendly, and everything was easy. They knocked at our door the next day and gifted us with tea and cookies. They really try to speak English and you can have a kind conversation with them. Their daughter speaks English fluently and is also such a kind and funny person. We had a good talk. Everything was wonderful. The only bad thing we can talk about is that we had to leave. We would've stayed forever. And we're going to be back. All about their Machiya, you can see in other comments is true. It's old, it's beautiful and loved, all the details and little origami, please write into their guest books, they'll be happy to read about your stay and they do read it.

’ve stayed at many properties, but this is undoubtedly one of the best. It’s a very traditional yet well-equipped Japanese house, but what makes the stay extraordinary are the hosts next door. They are extremely friendly and always ready to assist with whatever you need.

Very nice traditional Japanese house was comfortable and had everything we were looking for. Was a little walk to the bus but we knew that before booking. Close to supermarket and restaurants and the hosts are wonderful making sure we enjoyed our stay.

It is a traditional 120 year old Japanese house in good conditions. The owners live next door and they are amazing. So lovely and considerate. Always asking if there is anything we need.

Our stay at Kyomachiya MoMo was the highlight of our Japan trip. A traditional house in the suburbs that was easy to access by bus and was well serviced by local restaurants, and supermarkets. As a family 5, it was important to be able to self cater, and we were able to do this comfortably. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and spoilt us with local treats. We loved our time at Kyomachiya MoMo and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Nice city house, all you need is there - kitchen, toilet, good shower. Close to a bus stop. Very friendly persons welcoming you.

Everything ok, just upstairs some ceiling too low for big people!
