Woodside Oak hot tub & pool sleeps 4-6

Very clean property. Owners very accommodating. Lovely and quiet

We mainly booked the property for the outdoor heated pool however it was a shame the pool was little too cold for us to use. Hot tub was great. Booking a time slot meant it was a little less relaxing as had to meet the owner at a certain time to let us in. However I understand the reasoning behind this as people had been taking advantage and damaging the hot tub. Possibly might work better having one apartment with sole use of the hot tub or paying a deposit for damages upfront and then having the hot tub fully accessible at any time.

Didn’t realise the steepness of it - and the steps -

We had a fantastic relaxing time at Woodside apartments. It had everything we needed. Dishwasher was a nice surprise. Very spacious bedrooms with 3 single or 1 double and a single bed. Comfortable bedding, especially the duvets. Best shower ever. We were lucky with the weather, 5 fabulous sunny days so we made the most of the very good size swimming pool. The star was the 6 person hot tub, tucked away in the woods. Very peaceful. Town was a 5 minute drive. Probably a 20 minute walk but as its up a hill and we had an elderly family memeber with us, it would've been too difficult for her. You park along the fence outside the property. Its a private road so Very little traffic. Hubby was a bit worried about his car but all was good. You go down a steep drive plus a few steps to get to the property. I'd bare this in mind if taking elderly. There's a fabulous patio with plenty of seating and gorgeous plants and a fabulous view of so many different trees. It can be used by both apartments. We were pretty lucky to have it to ourselves as its right outside the apartment. There is a 10pm quiet time which I think is a pretty good idea. The owners were very friendly and so accommodating with all our needs. Was like I'd known them for ever. You're treated like a friend not a tenant which made our holiday very special.

Due to previous guests flooding the bathroom upstairs, our bottom floor bedroom was very damp. I had to put the clothes back in the suitcase as the felt damp the next day. The owner did put a dehumidifier in there which I emptied every day. I was very surprised about how much water it was taking in. So please keep in mind when using baths etc, you keep an eye on them, as its not just the owners that get affected. I really hope it doesn't take too long to dry out.
